With the accelerating of urbanization process, the city disease is more and more prominent, such as the traffic jam, traffic safety. City Road deformed intersection is the key node in the network because of its special hub service function, and the characteristic is the large area, irregular vehicle trajectory, the complex imports and exports path track, which show a more serous city traffic disease. Therefore, the reconstruction of city road deformity intersection has important social value and significance.This paper’s research object is the city road deformed intersection, focused on solving the problem of deformed intersection improvement methods and scheme evaluation. To this end, the paper researched city road deformed intersection improvement optimization design and evaluation. The specific contents are as follows:Through the classification of deformed intersecton and the analysis of traffic characteristics, the paper summarized the existing problem of deformed intersection in our country from three aspects, their own conditions, hardware conditions, software conditions. On the basis of deformity intersection information database, the paper analyzed the five influence factors of traffic capacity, which is the number of lanes, the proportion of turn left and the large cars, the cross angle of intersection roads, longitudinal slope. According to these problems and the influence factors, the paper put forward feasible measures from five aspects, which include engineering, channelization, control, management, landscape. Combined various measures, the paper put forward feasibility transformation design method of multi-channel intersection, mainly includes intersection shape standardization, area of rationzation, traffic organization design, the elimination of roundabout, and described the applicability of various methods.By these methods, the paper designed three schemes of Putian 324 National Highway Lanxi street six road intersection and illustrated the of each schemes. Simulating each scheme with microscopic simulation software VISSIM and put out parameters. By contrasting the four simulation output parameters that respectly is the traffic volume, the traffic delay, the queue length, the traffic time with the characteristics of each scheme, verifing the rationality of improvement scheme.Facing selection among multiple improvement schemes, the paper take advertage of the combination evaluation method that is multi lever gray correlation analysis method to estimate. The evaluation index established combined closely with the goal of the new traffic design:safety, efficency, environmental, justice, fully embodied the "people-oriented" concept, besides, the paper expouds the access of each index in detail and emphasis deformity intersection traffic capacity. The index weigh were calculated by AHP, combined with the experts group scoring. According to the known weigh and index, the transformed schemes were evaluated by grey correlation analysis method. Finally, the paper maked use of the theroy to Lanxi street six road intersection, eventually correlation size of each schemes were obtained as follows:scheme 3> scheme 2> scheme 1, namely, scheme 3 is the best solution.
