With the development of electric power industry, the scale of power system is getting bigger and bigger, in this case, Many large power research experiments are difficult to carry out, First, the conditions are difficult to meet; Two is from the perspective of system security is also not allowed for experiments; Three is to the first of a new design concept, through the software of simulation of the actual situation, in practical engineering application and the workload will tend to consume a lot of financial and material resources and manpower. In the process of slight errors are likely to waste all the previous efforts. Taking into account the above situation, to find a digital simulation tool which is the closest to the actual operation of the power system is very important.Numerical simulation in power system planning, operation and security defense play an irreplaceable role. Model is complete, the calculation accuracy and efficiency of acceptable is the basic requirement of numerical simulation of power system. Along with the continuously increasing scale of power system, analysis of user demand diversity, for the user to quickly,the flexibility to analysis and solve problems, provide good open power system simulation program is of great significance.Paper analyzes the present situation of numerical simulation software of power system and a large number of idle computer resources, is proposed based on the concept of cloud open numerical simulation system of electric power system solutions. The main research work is as follows:First of all, an analysis of the numerical simulation software of power system, open questions, emphasize the secondary development based on the application program interface API function, the importance of research and development based on C/S mode of open numerical simulation system of electric power system. Users through the use of server-side powerful resources, develop all kinds of advanced application analysis program, and greatly shortens the development time, has the characteristics of convenient, fast and efficient.Secondly, study the characteristics and applications of cloud computing, combining with the concept of cloud computing resources sharing, to expand the C/S model for the cloud service mode, design the numerical simulation system of electric power system scheme based on the cloud concept, determined the client and the cloud coordination work mode. This plan set up under the cloud resource pool has the advantages of quick, convenient, through the various calculation engine installed on the server and computer and the connection to thecenter of the cloud scheduling service interface software builds up the resource pool, the computing capability of resource equipment installed on more than one interface software,can provide service for multiple clients at the same time.Finally, puts forward the ability index and available computing power index, the computer numerical simulation of power substation was designed and implemented a cloud service task scheduling strategy. The cloud of dispatching center is responsible for monitoring the user service application, and at the same time monitoring the equipment utilization rate of CPU utilization and memory resources, calculate the current available computing power indicator of the equipment. Equipment provider without affecting the cloud resources under the condition of normal use, effective use of a large number of idle resources, to provide users with services, so as to improve the utilization of resources.
