This subject comes from the project of Jilin province science and technology development, the name of the project: "Research on key technology of" earthquake damage of bridge structure strengthened with basalt fiber, basalt fiber is the new material carbon fiber since subsequent developed, has obvious superiorities, our province is in the rapid development of economic base period, construction and maintenance of infrastructure requirements grow with each passing day. Through the research of this project, the hope for Jilin province and even the national economy construction, and provide technical support and strong security.This topic through the basalt fiber reinforcement of concrete square columns, analysis and Research on mechanical properties of basalt fiber cloth and reinforcement effect. In this paper, through the layers of different and different way of pasting square column of the same size are strengthened, 1 layer, 2 layer adhered respectively, 3 layer, 4 layer and bar paste, will then be subjected to axial compression test of these square column, the research according to the experimental phenomena and results analysis, reinforced concrete square columns bearing capacity and failure state. Finally, the use of large-scale finite element software ABAQUS to simulate the test and simulation, the seismic performance of specimens under low cyclic loading. The software analysis results are compared with the experimental results and analysisresearchIn the axial compression test, CO produced 7 square concrete column, dimensions are 200mm*200mm*800mm.The other columns are respectively filled bag paste 1 layer, 2 layer, 3 layer, 4 layer and 2 layer, 3 layer bar paste basalt fiber cloth, and have 1 non strengthened as the reference column. Then the axial pressure, through the observation of experimental phenomena, not reinforced concrete square columns show sudden brittle failure,unpredictable; after the treatment, the bearing capacity of square column cracking load and limit have been improved obviously, the final or end to brittle failure, but before the failure of basalt fiber cloth fault premonitory.Basalt fiber cloth layers to improve the bearing capacity of the columns of different degree of the limit are different,reinforced concrete column 1 layer, 2 layer, 3 layer, 4 layer and its ultimate bearing capacity were increased by 23.1%, 29.6%, 36.5%, 43.2%. The ultimate bearing capacity of concrete column 2 layers of Xuan Wuyan fiber cloth strip paste increases25.4%, 3 bar paste layer Xuan Wuyan fiber reinforced concrete column ultimate bearing capacity increased by 30.6%. Therefore, can obviously improve the bearing capacity of concrete column strengthened after the limit, and we can see that the improved with fiber cloth layers appeared after the first big small law, strengthening in 3 layers, the largest increases, this time for the optimal reinforcement layer. Bar paste reinforcement effect is obvious difference in a bag full of paste.Finally, using large-scale finite element analysis software ABAQUS to simulate test, the software of analysis results and experimental results were analyzed and compared, it is found that the two results, the basalt fiber cloth in practical engineering application provides reliable theoretical basis. Use software to simulate the low cyclic loading process, found that the UN reinforced concrete column failure to brittle shear, strengthened concrete columns damage form gradually transformed into flexural failure. From the plump hysteretic curve degree can be seen, the energy dissipation capacity of concrete column strengthened significantly improved after.
