The Design And Realization Of PMS Power Management Module Of Marine Power Station

With the degree of marine power station automation and the requirement of automation degree are increasing, gradually forms an integrated automation network system of monitoring, controlling, managing in one of the marine power station, that is, Power Management System(PMS). The Power Management System makes marine power generation and electric equipment unified schedule and centralized control. PMS is made up of Power Management Module, Electric Power Dispatch and Intelligent Management Module, Distribution Management Module and Electric Propulsion Module. PMS represents the development direction of marine power station. Power Management Module is the basis of marine power station safe operation, which guarantees continuous and reliable power supply of ship. Therefore; it has a very important position.In this study, the PMS Power Management Module Controller of Marine Power Station is designed with modular concept, utilizing S7-1200 PLC as its core device. This thesis introduces both the hardware design and software process of automatic start, quasi-synchronous parallelization, tripping, frequency and load control, and then realizes the main functions of PMS Power Management Module Controller. The controller takes the appropriate measures automatically at the proper condition, by detecting real-time operating data of marine power station, adding to analysis and determination, deals with the situations which may happen in the operation of marine power station in order to ensure the safe, reliable and economic operation of marine power station.The PMS Power Management Module controller is debugged based on the platform of the marine physical simulation of the marine power station in the marine power station laboratory of Dalian Maritime University. Not only can the PMS Power Management Module controller run stably and reliably and accomplish all the scheduled tasks in the laboratory environment, but also its control effect is excellent.
