With the rapid development of traffic construction, as the key link in traffic engineering, the construction task of bridge is quite formidable. At present, the bridge structure tends to be large span and diverse characteristics. Large span steel box arch bridge like basket gets the favor of many designers, because of its’beautiful form and unique force. However, as for its complicated structure form, which leads the actual construction processes to be difficult. Therefore, we must follow a strict control of the bridge construction process, ensuring that the final bridge state meets the designers’ requirements.Based on the Pu wan arch bridge, this article analyzes the structure’s changes of deformation and stress, and uses the finite element analysis software Midas on the structure of the whole construction process to do some simulation analysis. At the same time, it studies the key problems in the process of this bridge construction. There are mainly the following several aspects:1、It introduces the development of arch bridge and construction control at the present time. Also it introduces the trend of construction control, and does a brief introduction in the arch bridge construction methods which commonly be used in present engineering, and analyzes their respective advantages and disadvantages.2、This paper describes the theory in modern bridge construction control briefly, and introduces the construction control system and method and the factors that effects the construction control in detail.3、Make a detail study to the cable -stayed hang buckle means for the arch ribs’ construction. And balance the ways of buckle cable force calculation, and introduce the elastic-rigid support method、the finite element theory. And compute the force of buckle cable through the method of unknown load-coefficient to make the stress and the key points’ deformation in the scope of controlling, making the rib linear approach to the rib created in one time. And this method does not need to regulate the cable force repeated, making the construction convenience.4、The key job is to control the derrick force of the background bridge, and figure up the initial tension through the difference between iteration method. And make a comparison in terms of derrick tension、rib stress and main girder stress between three schemes in purpose of selecting a reasonable suspender tension sequence.5、Through formal calculation, use Midas finite element simulation to control the stress and linear of the arch rib and main girder in the key construction phase. And make the horizontal displacement of pile foundation in the scope of controlling by means of managing the stress of tie bar. The results show that the stress and linear meets the requirement.
