The Methods Of Designing Outdoor Amusement Park Of Children Based On Cultivation Of General Qualifications

This paper analyzed the causes to continuous estrangement of children from outdoor space and stated the harm and influence of such estrangement to children. It proposed the idea that children’s amusement park is a valuable place to connect indoor education of children with outdoor education, as it plays an important driving role in intellectual development of children, cultivation of morals, improvement of aesthetics and strengthened physical quality. So, the author thinks it necessary to explore the methods of designing outdoor amusement park of children from the perspective of promoting development of children’s general qualifications.Next, it analyzed the current development of outdoor amusement park of children,the development of children’s cognition through games, environmental psychology and aesthetic of landscape, which are taken as theoretical basis to analyze the driving role of amusement park’s amusement facilities and landscape factors to children’s intellectual,morals, aesthetics and physical quality, so as to lay theoretical foundation for design of outdoor amusement park of children. Subsequently, it summarized the methods of designing outdoor amusement park of children based on cultivation of general qualifications, including design objectives, the setting of activity contents of amusement park and design principles of landscape factors. Finally, it took Children’s Park of Hong’en Temple of Chongqing as the actual case to analyze and explore the role of the design in enhancing general qualifications of children in such aspects of the park’s theme, features, functional divisions and growing of plants, aiming to further demonstrate previous research and analysis results.At the end, this paper summarized the research in general and stressed that outdoor amusement park of children is an important place for connecting indoor education with outdoor education, as well as its importance to cultivation of children ’ s general qualifications. Then, it pointed out the educational purpose in designing outdoor amusement park of children should be pursued by designers through ceaseless efforts.
