Traction motor is energy conversion tool of traction drive system. Metro bogie traction drive system uses three-phase ac power supply achieved by SPWM inverter and the frequency and amplitude is adjustable. Harmonic vibration torque is generated when the harmonic generated by the SPWM inverter enters into the motor, which causes motor vibration. The vibration may have influence on other bogie components.The paper analyzed the harmonic of the SPWM inverter and traction motor, and the rotor current harmonics and magnetic flux harmonics with different numbers will generate harmonic torque vibration. In Simpack simulation software, subway train model is established, with motor, rotor, big gear and small gear and so on in metro traction electric drive system. In the Simulink simulation software, traction motor direct torque control model is established, and electromechanical coupling model is established by using the software co-simulation. Simulation analysis is conducted under constant speed condition of 60 km/h, finding that 12 times rotor fundamental wave frequency have a great effect on the vibration of the bogie, and the analysis of 60km/h test data also evidences the conclusion. When analyzing the influence of traction drive system on bogie vibration under constant speed and acceleration conditions, it can be found that the influence of traction drive system on bogie longitudinal vibration, frame end region and motor vertical vibration is most obvious, and the influence of 12 times rotor fundamental wave frequency on motor and gear box longitudinal vibration, frame end region and motor vertical vibration is most obvious.The thesis also analyzed the vibration caused by 12 times rotor fundamental wave frequency with different speeds, finding that with the speed increasing, the vibration of frame end region, motor, gear box and axle box increases firstly then decreases. Under the condition of 60 km/h speed,1500 v voltage dc power supply, the bogie vibration amplitude is increased obviously with the voltage increases.
