With the rapidly development lof China since 1980s, we have entered the age of metro. For the subway deep foundation pit is always built in the bustling section of city, the stability of retaining structure is significant to the surrounding buildings. In this paper, based on the research achievements, the retaining engineering located in Foshan city is analyzed by numerical simulation software named Midas GTS. According to the analysis results of displacement and stress felid, the main conclusions are shown as follows.1) According to the document literature, the design philosophy of pit support structure is analyzed, and the research status is summarized. The application and development status of the pit support structure.2) Through the participation of metro deep excavation located at Foshan city, the enclosure system of metro deep excavation is researched systematacially, including the selection of envelop enclosure and construction scheme.3) Research the design calculating methods for the support axial force of underground diaphragm wall, and deposition displacement comparatively. And compare the calculation results with the monitoring results for making sure that which design method is more suited to the actual condition.4) Applying the numerical simulation software named Midas GTS, the metro deep excavation engineering is simulated and analyze. The analysis results are compared with the data collected from the construction site. For proving the stability of deep excavation, the deformation and the displacement of the retaining structure and surface surrounding the deep excavation. The research work and the conclusions can be mirrored to the design and construction of deep excavation.
