Amorphous motor with amorphous stator core is a new kind of motor that is very meaningful for solving energy crisis and environment problems. Amorphous motor has many advantages, such as energy-saving, low core loss, low temperature increasing of stator. However, amorphous is a thin delicate material that is sensitive to vibration. So it is necessary to research its vibration influence.The property parameters of amorphous alloy Metglas2605SA1 were obtained from a certain company. The electromagnetic behaviors and output characteristics of the three-phase induction motor which contains the amorphous alloy Metglas2605SA1 stator core were analyzed by commercial software ANSYS Maxwell, air gap flux density which varies in both space domain and time domain were calculated. The magnetic simulation of radial electromagnetic forces was analyzed. The no-load loss decreased by 83.6%. The harmonic wave distribution of radial electromagnetic forces was analyzed by FFT. Compared with silicon steel motor, the three-phase induction motor with amorphous alloy Metglas2605SA1 stator core has the advantages such as little weight, little loss and quick response.Secondly, the influence of the modal of the amorphous stator core was studied in this paper. The three-dimensional structural model of stator core was established. The effects of the various parameters of the motor stator structure modal were studied by ANSYS finite element simulation, including length and outer diameter of the stator. The mode shapes and corresponding modal frequencies provide a reference and basis for the study of motor vibration. The three-phase induction motor with amorphous alloy Metglas2605SA1 stator core has lower nature frequency than silicon steel motor.Finally, in order to study the vibration of motor caused by the radial electromagnetic force, the weak coupling of electromagnetic and structure was conducted by ANSYS workbench, electromagnetic load transforming from ANSYS Maxwell to ANSYS workbench. As a result, the amount of amorphous motor was larger than the silicon steel motor’s. Meanwhile, noise analysis of amorphous motor and silicon steel motor was finished by ANSYS workbench. The noise of amorphous motor is louder than silicon steel motor’s.
