Over the past decade, the rapid development of China highway career, road construction and cities nationwide for regional economic development has laid a strong guarantee, but the widespread phenomenon of overloading of vehicles on the road infrastructure damage, seriously affecting road traffic safety, Therefore, it is imperative governance work overload. Early we use static weighing, along with the growing transport undertakings, static weighing manner likely to cause highway traffic jams, affecting the smooth flow of the road, so this weighing method cannot meet the needs of the current highway development. WIM preflight system solves this problem, it can effectively filter out whether the vehicle is overloaded, and the low cost, high efficiency, become the main way currently overrun detection.This paper designs and implements a vehicle dynamic weighing system, the paper first elaborated the overloaded road transport and social harm, dynamic weighing system by pre-screening study in the development of domestic and international, as well as weighing Factors affecting the data, and then the idea of modular hardware platform design, divided by the function of the system, including I/O modules, data acquisition modules, license plate recognition instrument module, screen module, embedded computer modules and network communication module, specific research hardware selection and connection of each module. System software design in Visual C++6.0 development tools as the front desk, background database management using Microsoft SQL Server 2000, the realization of the system hardware control, data acquisition, processing, display and communication and storage needs. Finally, in terms of dynamic weighing algorithm, compared to earlier devices filtering method by studying the neural network algorithm, a new BP network modeling, a more comprehensive system of access to the weighing preflight parameters to process all types of data and software platform on the validity of the algorithm, so that more accurate weighing results, the measurement accuracy in line with relevant international standards.In this paper, the design of vehicle dynamic weighing preflight system under actual road conditions through a large number of experimental tests, the error rate of the system’s basic 5% down, the system has applicability. And it can overrun detection stations use to achieve the desired objectives.
