Reinforced concrete arch aqueduct water was used in water conservancy projects more and more, but the design of arch Aqueduct still refer to the relevant design specifications for seismic design of highway bridges.Research on reinforced concrete arch aqueduct seismic properties was rare, and the main arch for dynamic Elastic-plastic research was more rare. Therefore, the dynamic characteristics and seismic response of the reinforced concrete arch aqueduct under seismic action is very important. The paper focuses on the long-span reinforced concrete arch aqueduct, and studies as following:â‘ Combined with Citangbian aqueduct, adopting the finite element analysis software Midas/Civil establishes the dynamic analysis models, analysing and comparing the difference of the dynamic characteristics of the reinforced concrete arch aqueduct in different work conditions.â‘¡Analysis of the main arch arched aqueduct and the seismic response of the internal force and displacement response of aqueduct in different work conditions using the response spectrum method and linear time history method. Comparing the results of two dynamic analysis method.â‘¢When considering effects of traveling wave, large span reinforced concrete arch aqueduct responses were analyzed.Mainly through the ratio of shear wave velocity in different circumstances, and across the slot along the aqueduct to the input seismic waves are analyzed, comparing seismic response of arch aqueduct law differences.â‘£Through the fiber unit of the main arch to be divided, other structural parts are still using elastic beam element simulation.Establishing the dynamic elastic-plastic analysis model based on fiber beam element. The main arch dynamic elastic-plastic analysis carried out to study the dynamic response of different earthquakes.
