Cement concrete pavement is a type of high-ranking pavement with high rigidity,high bearing capacity and high stability. With the growth of the traffic volume and the deterioration of the environment pollution, local damage is more likely to happen to the cement concrete pavement, which may cause more economic loss if not patched in time.The existing pavement patching materials are not economic and environment-friendly.This paper is aimed at a study of an economic and environment-friendly material for cement concrete pavement patching, which taking industrial residue as a principal raw material, improves the performance of the alkali-activated slag cement mortar by adding admixtures, fibers and polymers, so that the requirements of a patching material in compatibility, workability, durability, shrinkage and adhesiveness can be met. The micro structure of the mortar was also analyzed with infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and SEM. The study shows:Through an experimental study of the fluidity, the compressive and flexural strength, the shrinkage and other properties of the mortar, the mixture proportion of the patching material is determined to be: slag content at 90%; water glass at 15%;water-binder ratio at 0.4; cement content at 10%.The effect of the admixtures on the fluidity, the compressive and flexural strength,the shrinkage and other properties of the patching material was studied through experiments and microscopic analysis shows that a proper content of the admixtures can reduce the hydration product types of the mortar but increase the total content thereof,so that the performance of the patching material can be improved,the silica fume content is 10% and the requirements of a patching material can be met.The effect of the fibers content and length on the properties of the patching material was studied through experiments and SEM shows that 12 mm basalt fibers content is 0.2% and the requirements of a patching material can be met.Through the study of the performance of polymer modified mortar test found that epoxy resin emulsion can improve the flexural strength of the patching material and its performance in resisting sulfate corrosion.When the epoxy resin emulsion content is 9%,the requirements of a patching material can be met.Considering the economic,the requirements and environment-friendly of the patching material, the mixture proportion of the patching material is finally determinedto be: slag content at 90%; cement content at 10%; water glass at 15%; water-binder ratio at 0.4; 12 mm polypropylene fibers at 0.1%; 12 mm basalt fibers at 0.2%.
