With the continuous development of high grade highway asphalt pavement construction in our country, the asphalt quality requirements are constantly improve,modified bitumen is widely used in highway and low grade highway construction.Development and production of modified asphalt, enhance the durability of the asphalt surface and use of performance, has become the important topic of the current highway construction. Asphalt horseshoe fat mixture(SMA) is internationally in recent years a very compelling new asphalt mixture, with its excellent rutting resistance and sliding resistance, gradually on the highway, urban expressway and airport runway pavement is widely used.In view of the present of SMA mixture, relatively mature is the use of the SBS modified asphalt, and life waste plastic CRP modifier with waste plastics as raw material, through high heat cracking method of new asphalt modifier. CRP modifier as domestic patent technology, successfully solved the plastic asphalt segregation and poor stability of storage problem seriously, excellent compatibility with asphalt. In this paper,combining the asphalt roadbed disease form, through a large number of indoor test, the CRP modified asphalt and its mixture in-depth research, analysis, and the modified SMA- 13 mixture for the study of actual project.①in the laboratory, through shear emulsifying process, produce different dosage(4%, 5%, 6%), CRP of modified asphalt and SBS modified asphalt, the performance of the modified asphalt test, and the optimum content of CRP modifier is put forward.②select the project practice demonstration of the asphalt mixture gradation(your clear high-speed AC- 13, grading LiuNa highway SMA- 13), respectively for CRP and SBS modified asphalt mixture ratio design, and through the test contrast analysis of CRP and SBS modified asphalt mixture of high temperature, low temperature, water stability performance. Argument CRP modifier used in AC- 13, the feasibility of the SMA- 13 mixture.③combining with the aggregate guiyang a mixing station, and modified the CPR SMA- 13 mixture proportion design, test the various mixtures, performance. Indicate that CRP for don’t match at the same level, different aggregate of SMA mixture, roadcan make it meet the requirements.④CRP and emphasized on the research production of SMA- 13 mixture of dry mixing process and dry mixing performance,dry mixing mechanism.Life waste plastic CRP modifying agent can not only change on the surface of the asphalt road use performance, prolong its service life, reduce the project cost. At the same time, the CRP modifier for resource recycling and environmental protection provides a good way. So life waste plastic CRP modifier has broad application prospects.
