Flexible multi-robot manufacturing cell as a high-tech production which is composed by intelligent processing equipment, industrial robots, control software system, extended and applied more and more in the enterprise. And how to make it be used efficiently is an urgent problem to solve. In this paper, Based on the theory of the classical job shop scheduling algorithm, two kinds of algorithm was proposed to solve two different types of flexible multi-robotic cell scheduling problem. Benchmark test have proved the effectiveness of this algorithm, and then applied the proposed algorithm to guide the development of the flexible multi-robot manufacturing cell prototype system development. This study includes the following content.First of all, the characteristics and equipment layout of flexible robotic manufacturing cell are described. the scheduling process, scheduling constraints, scheduling status were analyzed.Then, mathematical model is established based on analysis of the characteristics of flexible robot manufacturing cell scheduling problems,A new scheduling method based on sequence matrix of robot transport operation is proposed, an improved genetic algorithm is proposed for this scheduling method ,handling procedure code method and heuristic assignment strategy for genetic algorithm is designed, heuristic algorithm is combined with genetic algorithm to build hybrid algorithm to solve this scheduling problem, through the standard example calculation, verified the effectiveness of the algorithm.Once again, an improved discrete particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed to solve the flexible robotic cell scheduling problem which consided the machine flexible. This algorithm is designed with two heuristic segmentation coding method and and two heuristic initialization method. the results of numerical experiment demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.Finally, the genetic algorithm and improved particle swarm algorithm which is propoed in this paper is applied to the development of flexible manufacturing cell multi-robot prototype scheduling system,this improve the productivity of this cell.
