Research On The Protection And Utilization Of Traditional Dwelling In Zhengzhou Aerotropolis Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone

In recent years, the growing attention has been paid to the protection for traditional residences. Recently the rapid development of Zhengzhou Aerotropolis Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone(referred to the Experimental Area) has brought a certain degree of difficulty for the protection of their traditional residences within the scope. This thesis based on the analysis of features, conservation status and protection problems about traditional dwelling in the Experimental Area, studies the protection type and its scope adapting to traditional residences within the Experimental Area. Finally it proposes the protection and conservation strategies for traditional residences in the Experimental Area and the protection measures for different types of protection.The article is divided into five chapters:The first chapter introduces the research background, significance, review relevant research at home and abroad, the relevant definition of the concept, the study area and the object, which made the research methods and framework.The second chapter analyzes the status quo of traditional residences in Experimental Area. Through the introduction of the experimental area and the study of the traditional residences features and the contemporary protection value, it further summarizes and studies the conservation state of traditional residences and the problems of protection in the Experimental Area.The third chapter reviews the current type and the advantages and disadvantages of traditional residences protection. It studies the select of the protection types, and the scope of different types of protection depending on the different factors of traditional residences in Experimental Area.Chapter IV puts forward the principles and strategies of protection for traditional residences in the Experimental Area. It proposed different measures for different protection types(i.e. original single site protection, activation single site protection, off-site centralized protection) of traditional residences.The last chapter summarizes the main results of this study. It analyzes the shortcomings of the study. Finally it discusses the further research.
