| As an important lifeline project, the transmission tower directly affects the safety of social production and people’s lives. Transmission tower has the characteristics of high-rise structures, making it particularly sensitive to wind loads. With the wind in the pulse of the change, especially for curved transmission tower, the main member has more than one variable slope, showing curved shape, thus the diagonal members have certain effect, known as the Eiffel Effect of the tower transmission. So for the curved features of the transmission tower, under the random wind loads, in-depth analysis of the Eiffel effect is very important, to ensure that the tower has sufficient slope material strength and stiffness.Taking the form of a drum tower dual-circuits as an example, the linear auto-regressive filter law principle is adopted, the Kaimal spectrum that changes with height is conducted, the wind field is simulated through MATLAB software. Through the simulation spectrum and target spectrum, it is demonstrated that this method is feasible, to consider the time and spatial correlation of fluctuating wind speed simulation provides an effective research approach.Using the ANSYS finite element analysis software, the finite element model of transmission tower is built, the internal force of diagonal members is calculated under stochastic wind load, and is compared with code calculation. It shows that the calculation and the code calculation are different. Predictably, Eiffel Effect on transmission tower brings diagonal members with influence. Therefore, Eiffel Effect should be considered in the tower design, in order to improve bearing capacity of diagonal members and ensure design strength of transmission tower.According to the transmission line catenary equation of the initial shape, using Link10 element simulation line to build “a tower of two lines†finite element model. Using the time-history analysis method, the tower line system and transmission tower on Eiffel Tower effect is analyzed, the tower that high range under different wind speed combination inclined the internal force of diagonal member and main member, the top displacement variation with time. Analysis concludes that the Eiffel Effect of the tower-line system exists, so the effect of transmission line can not be ignored. |
