With the development of UHV technology, now the highest single-phase capacity hasreached1000MVA.The current winding type of transformer with directed has been unableto meet their internal requirements of heat transfer performance. In this context, so peopleput forward the pie winding which is non oriented double division. The type of winding isto remove the guide plate which is based on oriented structure, and open an axial oilchannel in the winding, increases the middle vertical oil duct and the oil flow path. Atpresent, the research of this type is just beginning; there will be of great significance tostudy heat transfer aspects of this form.Because the winding structure is complex, so at the beginning of the program we firstsimulation using the CFD software, the simulation results show: the oil flow internalwinding mainly in the inner and outer and middle oil channel vertical, horizontal oilchannel flow is very small. All of this provides the reliable basis for the program. Inwinding internal, used the method of resistance and buoyancy balance. The resistancecalculation and resistance balance are the main factor to make sure iterationconvergence.In this paper, we have researched on single conductors, twins and CTCconductors, discrediting the problem domain wit different discrete method. The numeral simulation result isbasically consistent with calculation results of the self made software, which verified thecorrectness of this software. In this paper, the results show that: the hot spot position of non oriented double splitpie winding is higher and fixed. Winding oil flow in horizontal is less than oil flow invertical passage. Outboard and middle vertical oil ducts are the main structure.The resultsof this research project is consistent with the simulation results,its proof this software hassome guiding significance to transformer thermal design. |
