Hydraulic technology has become an important part of many mechanical drive andautomatic control systems, widely used in industry and agriculture, national defense and otherfields,but the sealing ring as an important component in the hydraulic system, its performanceis good or bad determines the whole mechanical system can run properly, so the development ofthe sealing technology can promote the better development of machinery industry.This studybased on the Y-Shaped Sealing Ring failure of lifting hydraulic cylinder from the actualsteel,and the important role of seal in various fields, and establish the research topic.It isanalyzed respectively from the sealing principle, theory of friction, working environment,failure modes and the heating mechanism, and the temperature field distribution of Y-ShapedSealing Ring is studied by ANSYS finite element analysis software.This paper established the Y-Shaped Sealing Ring as the research object.The two sealfailure criterion is given, and rubber materials was introduced in detail about the hyperelasticfinite element theory and rubber material constitutive model, and studied the theory of finiteelement analysis in the application of heat transfer.laying the foundation for subsequent sealtemperature field of study.According to the theory of finite element analysis to establish the heat generating model ofthe sealing ring in the reciprocating motion,heat transfer and thermal boundary model,studythe thermal dissipation.The essence of the heating lies in its sealing material at work on thesurface of the internal friction between the molecules and sealing ring friction heat; The mainheat transfer problem is to consider three basic modes of heat transfer are analyzed, at the sametime to study the sealing ring work when the temperature field of thermal boundary conditions.And through mathematical derivation and analysis, forecast the sealing ring in the distributionof temperature field may appear in the work.The temperature field research of rubber sealing ring is done by finite element analysissoftware ANSYS12.0, and established the finite element model of Y seal Y-Shaped SealingRing, all parameters of the temperature field simulation, and respectively within the heat source for sealing ring reciprocating motion in the form of good or poor thermal analysis, get the sealgood or poor temperature field distribution of the stroke, back stroke was determined by theanalysis of the sealing ring of the loss is bigger than along the trip; And single variable controlmethod is used to analyze the factors affecting the temperature rise of the sealing ring (such asvelocity, pressure and loss factor, etc.) on its temperature field, the sealing ring temperature fieldwith the change of all the factors, to get the temperature in the process of sealing ring in areciprocating motion with the increase of working pressure, reciprocating movement speedincrease, in the design of sealing ring at the same time as far as possible choose less dissipationfactor of rubber materials.In order to reduce the temperature rise of the sealing ring in the process of reciprocatingmotion, the Y-shaped sealing ring is increased ventilation structure optimization,and analysedthe feasibility of structure optimization; And using ANSYS12.0to establish the temperaturefield of the finite element software simulation analysis, and the effect of the structureoptimization is verified, it can lower the rise of temperature of the sealing ring, theoretically toimprove the sealing performance.
