Distribution network is the last link of the power system directly linked to the users, asusers are increasingly demanding on the quality of power, distribution network must improvethe reliability of its power supply. Distribution automation can improve the level of itsoperation and management, plays an important role to ensure the reliability of power supply.However the fault location of distribution network and power recovery is a core function ofdistribution automation system, its purpose is to rapidly response to fault location, isolationand restore power supply in the no fault area as soon as possible. In this paper, the main workis the study of fault location and power recovery method.First of all, Through studying the research of the matrix algorithm, found that theshortcoming when the undirected graph and directed graph describe the fault location, and animproved matrix algorithm is proposed.The algorithm is verified by two examples simulationthan it can carry on the accurate positioning to the power supply network and terminal. Andthe principle of the algorithm is simple, for the positive direction is only one assumption faultlocation in power supply network.Second, because of the influence of the weather and so on, the fault information loadedthrough feeder terminal FTU may be distorted and lost, aiming at the possible misjudgmentcaused of the condition of the matrix algorithm. A multi-objective algorithm is proposed inthis paper,which has some fault tolerance of the NSGA-II, established a multi-objectivemathematical model of fault location, put forward the suitable for fault location method ofoptimal solution set of processing the sifting conforms to the situation, through multiple casesimulation verify the algorithm’s versatile and fault tolerance.Finally, after fault isolation, study on the power supply recovery method to solve theinfluence caused of fault outage areas, a multi-objective mathematical model is established, using the previous chapter introduced the NSGA-II algorithm to solve, and verified theeffectiveness of the proposed algorithm and quickness through a69nodes distributionnetwork example...
