The present development and progress of the city have been inseparable from theutilization of underground space, which produces a large amount of excavations. Theexcavation engineering is strong comprehensive, with the size increasing, the depthdeepening and the geological condition more and more complicated of excavation, it isimportant and significant to research all kinds of problem in excavation, especially tothe super deep foundation pit, it still need to research deeply on the basic theory, thecalculation method and the construction technology of which throughout the world.According to published literatures, two problems of deep supper foundation pitshould be pay attention during excavation:(1) deformation and dynamic stability ofsupporting structure;(2) deformation of surrounding environment caused. In order tograsp the problems of supporting structure and surrounding soil in time in theconstruction process, it is necessary to monitor the deep foundation pit. It provides acertain security for the construction of foundation pit that monitoring is used widely.Based on the deep supper foundation pit of Qianhaiwan station in Shenzhensubway line, the monitoring methods of axial force of strut, horizontal displacement ofsupporting structures, and the surface subsidence are firstly introduced in this paper. Theevolution of these factors is analyzed based on monitoring data. Using of ANSYSsoftware, a two-dimensional model of this deep supper foundation pit is built to analyzethe deformation and internal force of supporting structure during excavation. Allnumerical results are compared with monitoring data and partly graphically presented. The strut structure is optimized by using of above-mentioned analysis.
