Substation bear transform voltage, accept and distribution of electricity effect inelectric power system,it is an important part of electric power system.In recent yearsthe substation damage under the earthquake situation, a strong earthquake is extremelyeasy to cause damage of structure and electrical equipment of substation, affect thenormal operation of the whole power system. The domestic and foreign scholars forstudy on seismic performance of substation has made some important achievements,focused the seismic performance of electrical equipment, analysis and investigationsubstation structure etc.But study on shaking table test of large substation consideringthe interaction of structure and electric equipment is little.This paper introduces study on seismic performance of substation, the proportionof1/8scale model is designed and made, and the model is simulated earthquakeshaking table test, observation model in the experimental process and the experimentaldata, the dynamic properties and seismic dynamic response of model, summarize themodel in the under the action of earthquake, the weakness and failure mechanism. Testmodel and prototype structure using finite element analysis software SAP2000areestablished, Elastic-plastic time history analysis is carried out on the model, getting thedynamic properties and the seismic dynamic response of model, the results of finiteelement analysis were compared with the experimental results.From the analysis results, the acceleration amplification factor of electricalequipment was significantly greater than the numerical given of "code for seismicdesign of electrical equipment"(GB50260-2013) in article6.2.6in the two layer, threelayer; the peak of the acceleration and displacement electrical equipment was significantly higher than of the acceleration peak of floor; in the process of test,seismic response of electrical equipment busing is significant,in practical engineering,it should be designed lonely or treated specially.Displacement angle of second layer and top layer are close to the elastic andelastic-plastic limit. In the earthquake of9degrees, beam and column serious damage,but not collapse, meet the requirements; the column’s bottom the top and the2th layerare destroyed,corner column is earlier than middle column,node of beam and columnappear random crack,the beam below the electrical equipment don’t destroy.The article analysis finite element model using the SAP2000software,compareresponse such as acceleration and displacement of finite element model and shakingtable test model under frequently encountered and basic earthquakes of intensity8.thecomparison indicates the error is small,the reaction law is comparatively unanimous.This article also conducted elastic-plastic time history response analysis under seldomearthquakes of intensity8,compared the plastic hinges and crack.the study shows thatthe border beams were serious damage,the beams under electrical equipment were notdamage,but the columns were damage,it can not meet the seismic requirements of“strong column and weak beam”.
