With the rapid development of structural engineering nearly20years in China, thedevelopment of large-span roof structure with each passing day got a lot of innovation,and different patterns of large-span truss in this process has been widely used.Thesephenomena have been fully reflected, especially in the public buildings and industrialbuildings.Large-span structures generally have a small weight,small damping,lowfrequency of vibration and modal distribution-intensive features.With the increasingspan and the application of lightweight roofing materials, such structures become moresensitive to wind loads.Wind loads on long-span truss structure often play a controllingrole.In the wind load characteristics, specifications of most countries are in accordancewith quasi-steady theory required. The main roof truss structure is often subjected tovortex separation, so calculating the fluctuating wind load according to this theoryleads to a large error. In terms of structural response, the wind vibration factor ofdisplacement has been an important part of the dynamic analysis for large-spanstructure, and it is also the important parameter of studying roof equivalent wind loads.Although there are some wind vibration factor of displacement rules obtained frommany research results for different grid structure and conditions, but it did not form aunified form. And also a calculation form of wind vibration factors of displacement didnot exist in our specification for span roof structure.Therefore, the engineering instance which is my professional practice duringgraduate will be put on to analyze and compare the value of wind vibration factor ofdisplacement obtained by the main several dynamic analysis methods such asharmonic analysis, transient analysis and spectral analysis.And also large-span truss structure with surrounding support is analyzed to study the main factors of the windvibration factors of displacement and its reasonable value for long-span truss structure.During the analysis, through the main use of Matlab software with artificial excitationnumerical simulation methods of wind load and Ansys structural analysis software,wind-induced response of grid will be analyzed combined with wind tunnel test data.Height, slope, damping, bearing constraints, terrain categories and modal order of gridaffecting wind vibration factors of displacement for the large-span truss structure withsurrounding support will be considered.
