Through the flume experiments, the mooring force of both the inner andouter unit of SFCs and the effectiveness of sediment deposition enhancement areanalyzed. The main work contents and results are as follows:(1) Based on fixed bed experiments, the mooring forces of SFCs under uniformsteady flows were studied. An empirical formula for the calculation of the maximummooring forces is proposed based on the regression analysis. The results show that theratio of maximum mooring forces and hydrostatic buoyancy force is affected by thefollowing three variables: the coverage rate of SFC group, Froude number, therelative height of SFCs.(2) Based on mobile bed experiments, sedimentation the effectiveness of the SFCgroup is analyzed. The effect of the coverage rater of SFC group, Froude number, therelative height of SFCs on the sedimentation effectiveness of the SFC group isrespectively investigated. The results showed that the siltation promotion effect of theSFC group is ideal.(3) The mooring forces of SFCs at the same position in the group first increaseand then decrease with the growing of Froude number; first increase and thendecreased trend increases again with the growing of the coverage rate; increase withgrowing of the relative height. The results of this study confirmed the SFC group’s siltation promotion effect isobvious and has good stability and engineering application value. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | SFC group, mooring force, sedimentation enhancement, coverage rate, relative height, Froude number | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
