Abstract/Summary:
The quality of sealant performance is guaranteed whether the concrete pavementcan use normally or not and directly influences the use quality and life of concretepavement. The sealant is under the functions of vehicle load and temperature and soon, causing the sealant to receive the stretch and the shear action which lead to thedestruction. And it is the cause of many concrete pavement diseases. In the domesticand foreign, there is rarely the research of sealant stress, which is about to the leveland the distribution of sealant stress under the function of temperature and the load.This article used the finite element method to analyze the sealant stressful condition,and will provide the according for the sealant of operational performanceimprovement.The article first uses road special-purpose computation software EverFE toseparately analyze the displacement in pavement joint.The displacement is caused bythe function of the gradient of temperature or the vehicle load. According to the actualtemperature gradient of road surface in winter, through analyzing on the jointdistortion in the concrete pavement under different construction operating mode andthe different gradient of temperature function, it obtains the following conclusions: Inthe daytime construction, the condition is influenced by the negative temperaturegradient as well as that the pavement and the basic unit are not completely caking. Inthat condition the change value of joint width is biggest. And its position is in themiddle of joint. Under the vehicle load function, it mainly causes the verticaldisplacement of pavement. With the condition of interface between pavement and thebasic unit which are not caking completely, the board angle has the biggest verticaldisplacement.Then loading the displacement on the sealant, this article will use the ANASYSsoftware to separately analyze the stressful condition of sealant influenced by thegradient of temperature or by the vehicle load. Under the function of temperaturedisplacement, the sealant has the biggest stress value in the middle of the lower limb,and the sealant is pulled at the lower limb, the seam wall and the vertex place. Withthe displacement function which is caused by the vehicle load, there is the biggeststress at the vertex and nearby the sealant vertex on one side of sealant which isdirectly acted by the displacement of vehicle load, as well as the upside vertex and nearby the vertex on the other side. And at this position the sealant is pulled. At thesame time because of the different displacement at the two side of sealant, nearby fourvertices and the seam walls appear the big shear stress.
