The urbanization process gradually accelerate in China, especially a growing number ofhigh-rise buildings going up, along with the pit deeper and deeper, so choose that what iseconomical, safe and reliable, but also take into account environmental and other excavationprograms required to become ensure construction quality, safety, environmental protection isvery important part.However, deep excavation design and construction of many uncertainties, engineeringaccidents have occurred. China’s urban construction in the South are more low-lying plains,loose soil to Quaternary sediments mainly with a certain thickness, especially thick soft soil,or karst, excavation very stable height limited excavation damage prone instabilityphenomenon is difficult to control the security pit.The research company contracted to ease my Xintiandi project as application examples.According to geological exploration report, plain fill larger venues thickness; breeze of theunderlying rock fissures and caverns is developed. The proposed project excavation depth of-13m, three basements, foundation level of security as First Class. The project basementexcavation depth and layers are extremely rare in Zhaoqing, is my company contract deepestpit excavation and complicated geological conditions in the area, the breeze of rock fissuresand caverns more hair. The research for my company and other deep excavation projects inthe city in the future under the same geological conditions of the region, there is an importantreference value.This paper describes the current situation and development trend of excavationengineering, and support in the form of deep excavation are described, and then focuses onthe excavation of a preferred solution, and finally with engineering examples were discussedand proposed projects management control.
