In this paper, the extra-large bridge over Junan waterway in the segment of Foshan ofJiang (Men) Zhu (Hai) Expressway north extension was taken as the research object, bridgetype schemes were comprehensively compared, the reasonable and viable scheme wasdetermined, and the elected optimal scheme was detailed calculated with static and dynamicanalysis.Firstly, according to main control factors of bridge location and technical informationsuch as the service function of bridge and so on, three bridge type schemes were drafted. Theywere the PC Cable-stayed Bridge with double towers and double cable planes, Low-pylonCable-stayed Bridge with double towers and single cable plane and the Continuous RigidFrame Bridge with steel-concrete composite beam. The advantages and disadvantages ofthese three schemes were elaborated. After comprehensively compared, the scheme of the PCCable-stayed Bridge with double towers and double cable planes was recommended.Secondly, by using the finite element analysis software, the construction stage andoperation stage of recommended bridge scheme was calculated with static analysis. Also thescheme was calculated with dynamic analysis, nature frequency and thecorresponding vibration types were listed. Based on the dynamic analysis model andearthquake ground motion input, internal force of each part was checked in earthquake actionE1and earthquake action E2. The results showed that static and dynamic analysis meetstandard requirements. Finally, main tower anchoring zones, cable-girder anchorage zones and bridge deck werelocal analyzed, the beam reinforcement schemes of pile caps were comparative analyzed, andthe reference for design was provided. The research results in this paper had been applied to guide the practical engineering, main basis of two stages preliminary design and construction drawing design was provided, also the results could be the reference to the same kind of bridge scheme in comparison.
