Abstract/Summary:
With the highly developing of urbanization, elevators have become a symbol of modern transportation and play an important role in the urban development. Elevators turn into an essential part in people’s life, as more and more high-rises and communities come into being. The elevator technology advances rapidly in China, which challenges the old ones. Compared with the modern elevators which are more efficient, energy-saving, safe and comfortable, the old ones are limited in the outdated standards, design and manufacturing techniques, so they cannot fulfill the current requirements. Since modern buildings are also under intelligence management now, improving the old elevators is an inevitable trend, and will cost much less money than replacing them directly with new ones.Based on the improvement of the elevator in model TKJ1000/1.5XH, the work within this thesis covers the following aspects:1. An overview of the theory, necessity and possibility of elevator improvement is made.2. The condition parameters before the improvement and the technical parameters achieved by the improvement are analyzed in detail, and the technical requirements are also determined via analysis of related laws and rules.3. The improvement scheme of the elevator is proposed, based on the life span and safety performance of every part and the technical requirements.4. The choice of main mechanical parts and their installation experiments are conducted, and the program and its debugging are made to realize the improvement of the elevator.5. All kinds of testing on the improved elevator are carred out, including the test of all its parameters and confirmation of the stability of all its functions according to related laws and rules, which proves that the improvement is feasible and meaningful.
