| Space structures are different from plane structures in structural system, for itstransmitting forces spatially, it means the structure can withstand three directionsloads, and space structures are one of the best structures to realize large spanstructures. With the development of economy, sports venues, exhibition halls andother large space structures appear more and more frequently in people’s life.This article mainly includes two aspects of content, on the one hand, BSS, HSStruss and reticulated shell which are three basic types of space structures are designedtaking a project in Dacheng in Hebei Province as the background. Comparing theeconomic performance by using steel quantity to evaluate the superiority of threekinds of structures, so applicability in engineering of the three structure types can bedetermined.On the other hand, stress state of joints in the whole structure of HSS can’t beobserved if analyzed by using traditional model of beam element, especially the jointsin the structure of the ultimate state. In this paper, HSS was analyzed using large-scalefinite element software ABAQUS. Firstly, simplify the cross section of specificationsof HSS, then take a piece of HSS, and compare with the model of beam element andlink element under the action of static, and compare the ultimate bearing capacity andmember internal force of the three element model, and observe the plasticdevelopment and deformation of nodes with shell element model, and then get someconclusion. Secondly, analyze HSS by shell element model and beam element modelunder the action of dynamic, compare damage condition with the two models in thesame acceleration amplitude, and then calculate the critical acceleration amplitude ofthe two models and finally get some conclusion. Finally, determine whether theresults can be applied in the beam element model or link element model to facilitatethe adoption of the actual engineering design. |
