Story-adding reconstruction is a simple method, the economic benefit is verywell. This method could increase room area utility greatly which apply to the old cityremaking. At present, organic anchoring material is widely used in the planting bartechnology. But the thermal stability and durability of the organic anchoring materialis bad. Some organic anchoring material contains volatile toxic substances. In order toovercome the shortcomings, the cement based inorganic anchoring material rapidlydeveloped in recent years. The cement based inorganic anchoring material is better inthermal stability and durability. And the cohesive strength may satisfy the engineeringdemand.At present, the study on using cement based inorganic anchoring material to addstorey is mostly about pullout test, component test and joints test. The study onstorey-adding framework structure experiment is not enough. As we know, in thestorey-adding engineering, the position of planting bar is always in the beam-columnjoints where the rebar is closely spaced. Even though we anchor the planting bar verywell, the damage on the rebar and concrete during boring process is inevitable. Andwhether these damaged joints meets the seismic requirements is difficult to answer.So the study on storey-adding framework structure experiment is necessary.This paper is the experimental on seismic performance of a three stories addingframework structure, we used cement based inorganic anchoring material during theplanting process. At the same time, we accomplished an experimental on seismicperformance of a three stories integral casting framework structure. The resultsindicate that the story-adding framework structure’s load-bearing capacity is similar tothe integral casting framework structure’s load-bearing capacity. The story-addingframework structure’s ductility is slightly lower than the integral casting frameworkstructure. When the displacement of the story-adding framework structure reach itslimits, visible crossing cracks were discovered in the planting bar joints. Somemethods should be taken to reinforce the joints in order to meet the aseismicrequirement.Among chapter four, the method of simulations using finite elements softwareABAQUS was introduced. Use beam element to simulation the frame, use REBAR words to concern the effect of the bar in the command stream. Use PQ-Fiber to definethe constitutive relation of the materials. The calculating results showed that thismethod could simulate the results of experiment accurately. The computation timewas short. This simulation method have high application value.
