| HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current, short for HVDC) transmission was used inmodern power systems by its irreplaceable advantages. As an important part of powersystem analysis, reliability evaluation has been improved constantly. In thebackground of “study on power grid planning technology for reliabilityevaluationâ€which was cooperated by Tianjin University and China Southern PowerGrid, this paper has a research on reliability evaluation of HVDC power system, andthe main work is as follows:1. Construct reliability models of station power using system by means of faulttree analysis (FTA) method, which can be a supplementary model for exisiting DCsystem.So, considering the impact of station power using system can make theevaluation method more suitable for application. What’s more, the accuracy andpracticability for reliability evalution can be improved greatly.2. Combine FTA method and FD method to assess reliability of HVDC system.Unlike traditional situations, firstly, the reliability models of sub-systems can bestructed by means of fault tree analysis (FTA) method; then, evaluate reliability withbasic parameters of each sub-system by means of frequency and duration (FD)method; finally, the reliability indices could be got.3. Complete the software which can evaluate the reliability of HVDCsystem.What’s more, the program interface is also designed.This software can alsoprovide techonical support and analysis for reliability evaluation of HVDC andAC/DC hybrid power grid.4. Analysis the reliability indexes of actual HVDC system and relevantconclusions could be got by this way. |
