Along with the modern bridge technical level increasing enhancement, thebridges which surmount the complex terrain emerge increasingly. Under theinterference of complex terrain, the wind force proofing design specification isnot applicable. The thesis is mainly about the Aizhai bridge of Jishou in HunanProvince. Conducting the field measurement and the numerical simulator studyto the complex terrain, Studying the characteristics of mountain valley averagewind speed, summarizing the character of the canyon wind. The main researchcontents,as follows.(1)Based on the programming function of MATLAB software to analyzethe measured date, derivate and converse the axis coordinate of wind, andanalyzes the average wind characteristics of two wind records. such as averagewind speed, wind profile index, wind rose and so on.(2)Downloading“The DEM date”from The Computer Network InformationCenter Chinese Academy of Science. Using “Global Mapper” and “Civil3D” toobtain the point data. And then forming the surface by using NX Image ware.Adopt Hexahedron mesh can reduce the number of grid and the computationtime. Compiling the procedure of UDF to analyze the eight conditions. To Compare the wind profile index of field measurement with numericalsimulation, Verifying the numerical simulation is a convenient and highprecision method. At the same time, proving under the different wind directionthe valley wind characteristics of the surface roughness coefficient, the windattack angle, the axial distribution of wind speed along the bridge are different.
