With the continuous growth of liquefied natural gas (LNG) consumption, LNGsafety and security in the process of transportation has aroused the concern ofcountries, especially in highway transportation. Ultra-low temperature of LNG willharm personnel security once it leaks, there is also the danger of explosion or causingpoisoning accident if it spread into the air. Therefore, carrying out the research onLNG tanker risk identification in transit makes sense.This article gets a clear understanding of LNG major hazards by analyzing itsphysical and chemical properties. Analyze common LNG transport accident todetermine LNG road transport in transit status influence factors. Build LNGsemitrailer vehicle dynamics model, ensure the main research object of liquefiednatural gas tanker rollover risk after analyzing the result of simulation by TruckSim,then carry on simulation test in the condition of hook steering and step steering, getthe rollover risk threshold. Analyze the characteristics of liquefied natural gas tankersand the swing of the liquid in the tank, find out the changing rule of the Center ofmass position of the liquid, then get the formula which can get it. At last, we canobtain the risk identification model among different steering angle, air fillingcoefficient the vehicle running speed threshold.Using the in-transit status identification parameters and the in-transit status ofLNG to construct the evaluation set (including vehicle longitudinal angle, pressureinside the tank and temperature inside the control box) and the factors set (includingrollover, leaks and fires), to determine the scope of the parameters and itsmathematical modeling. Determine the discrimination rules of LNG status based onactual experience,using fuzzy inference system to obtain the membership judgmentsurfaces of rollover, leaks and fires, then the LNG in-transit status is identified.Through the above study of LNG tanker risk identification in transit, all kinds ofsensors can be arranged suitably on LNG tanker, and the monitoring system of LNGtanker risk identification in transit can be work out to real-time monitor LNG tankerand goods state.
