The Influence Of Pretreatment On The Rubber Cement Concrete

Cement concrete of mixed with waste tyres research has shown that toughnessincreased after adding rubber concrete，but its intensity is reduced.So many scholars tostudy the modification of rubber, in order to improve the effect of rubber cement concrete.This paper to study the performance of rubber cement concrete which made up ofdifferent pretreatment methods (pretreatment with CaCl2solution and pretreatment withNaOH solution) and different rubber size (40mesh and60mesh) and different dosage ofrubber powder (10%,15%,20%). then to analysis the influence of different pretreatmentmethods, rubber powder and the different rubber powder content on concrete performance.In this paper, the research mainly include:(1) with the addition of rubber particles, theconcrete slump decreased, apparent density decreased, and the air content increased.Preprocessing method can effectively cut new concrete slump;(2) The compressivestrength and flexural strength of rubber cement concrete after the pretreatment increased,and the compressive strength increases obviously;(3) When rubber powder content is10%,the effect of the tensile strength is not obvious, then the rubber powder content is15%-20%, tensile strength decreased;(4) elastic modulus value of rubber cement wich afterpretreatment is not obvious;(5) the preprocessing method can effectively improve theimpact resistance of rubber concrete toughness, resistance to chloride ion permeability, andwhen the rubber content is15%, the effect is obviously;(6) the best way of madding rubberconcrete is adding15%dosage of40mesh size of rubber which after pretreatment by CaCl2solution.
