Our country’s economic development and people’s living standards have beenimproved by the rapid development of China’s power industry. Enclosed gas-insulatedsubstations (abbreviated GIS), as an important part of the power system also shoulder theresponsibility of stable operation. GIS is constructed by circuit breakers, voltagetransformers, current transformers, disconnectors, grounding switch, lightning arrester, etc.Based on the structure described above, the GIS has the advantages of compact, less space,better anti-interference ability, high reliability and long cycle detection which promoted thewidely use of the GIS.A system has designed which can easily detect the failure. When partial dischargeoccurs to GIS, the failure and which type of the failure can be judged by analyzing partialdischarge signals of GIS. The task of GIS discharge signal acquisition is completed in thispaper and providing the basis of whether GIS is in normal operation. This design is basedon the DSP+FPGA technology for real-time data acquisition and processing onlinedetection of intelligent component.Based on DSP+FPGA technology a depth research has been made. The design isconsisted of data acquisition module, data cache and timing control module, dataprocessing and output module. The task of data acquisition and analog-digital conversion iscompleted by data acquisition module. The preliminary treatment of data caching and dataprocessing is completed by data cache and timing control module. Data detection iscompleted by data processing and output module which transfer feature data of extractedsignals to the serve for pattern analysis and intelligent recognition.Such data collecting and processing components not only improve the wholeperformance of GIS partial discharge site collection component system, but also realize theefficient storage and real-time transmission. Finally the system function was verified toreflect the insulation condition of GIS truly, detect the insulation hazards timely. It plays animportant role in improving the safety and reliability of GIS.
