With the development of current social economy and the acceleration of urbanization,the continuation and the development of the cave dwelling building is under restrictionsfrom various aspects, so the living environment can not meet the requirements of localresidents, the cultural characteristics of its architecture is also degenerated and disappeared.In order to reflect the national characteristics and the regional characteristics better, the thesis carrys out the research of indoor thermal environment and the updated design oftraditional residence in Luochuan’s winter from the analysis of basic situation ofLuochuan’s cave dwelling buildings.The thesis researches in combination with theory and practice, instrument measuringmethod and simulation analysis method on the Luochuan’s traditional house-cave dwelling buildings as the research object.On the basis of reading lots of reference, thethesis summarizes the related research of the cave dwelling buildings at home and abroad,also summarizes the shape and characteristics of the cave dwelling buildings, analyzing theinfluence of local natural environment, economic conditions and historical causes onLuochuan’s cave dwelling buildings. Combined with field research, the thesis tests indoorthermal environment of three kinds of different cave dwelling buildings, grasps the cavedwelling buildings’ indoor basic situation, construction materials and the present situationof the indoor thermal environment, analyzes the influence factors of indoor thermalenvironment and the existing problems and puts forward the solving strategy.Finally, itupdates the design of the cave dwelling buildings with the regional and fusion inLuochuan’s cave dwelling buildings thermal comfort as design principle.The results of JT-IAQ(the instrument which tests the pleasurability of room thermalenvironment)shows that: the thermal environment of cave house and the pleasurabilityof resident is poor.The temperatures of cave house A,B and C are10.24~10.37℃,12.91~12.98℃、14.74~16.74℃.The reasons are as follows: Lack ofIndoor lighting,The window of heat preservation performance and airtightness of exterior windows is poor, the construction of exterior envelopes is single and the thermalperformance in exterior envelopes is dissatisfied. For the above problems, optimization ofspace, reducing indoor active adjustment and reasonable selection of wall materials are putforward. At the same time, three-hole cave-house and double-hole cave-house in cave-house B ware tested by Desth. After data analysis and comparison, results ware get asfollows:The indoor temperature of three-hole cave-house is improved2.49~4.58℃, Theindoor temperature of double hole cavehouse is improved0.65~2.62℃,the indoor relativehumidity keeps in30%~50%the pleasurability of room thermal environment is improved.The thesis will provide the reference value for the sustainable development of theconstruction and harmonious socialist new countryside to provide theoretical basis andpractical basis, to better carry out the construction of Luochuan’s cave dwelling buildings,to improve the indoor thermal environment of residence in Luochuan.
