This paper is describing a new innovative green technology based on thermoelectriceffect to improve the current practice of designing and installation of Air Conditioningespecially in indoor spaces. Thermoelectric cooling uses the Peltier effect with the purpose tocreate a heat flux between the junctions of two different types of materials. A Peltier cooler, heater, or thermoelectric heat pump is a solid-state active heat pump which transfers heatfrom one side of the device to the other, with consumption of electrical energy, depending onthe direction of the current. Such an instrument is as well called a Peltier device, Peltier heatpump, solid state refrigerator, or thermoelectric cooler. Based on this principle, this study hasbeen investigating some high-tech materials, which have been added to the basic unit of TECto improve the efficiency of it. However, using TEC requires heat sinks and heat exchangersto be able to use this technology. Heat sinks are taking (on hot face) the heat amount out ofthe TEC to make it in a stable situation. In addition, using TEC without heat sinks candamage the TEC device. The advantage of high-tech materials is to make the TEC device stayin a stable mode and with the advantage to work without heat sinks. Heat dissipaters andarchitectural materials have also been taken into consideration and describe how to combineTE technology with architectural environment. This investigation is taking the electricalsource according to the application. Nevertheless, the main goal of this study is to cool downthe application and to explain the insertion of this technology in the architecture field.
