Solar car mainly depends on solar energy to drive directly, due to the low energydensity, the requirements for collecting and transforming solar energy to drive vehicledirectly are extremely high, and the factors affected on energy consumption is vital as well.In view of the above questions, a simulation method of multi factors constraints whichbased on Shuttle Solar Car has been brought out. This method which based on theworking principle of electric system has settled the power system model of solar cell aspower source, permanent magnet motor as power conversion device and vehicle model,experiments such as coast-down test, cruise test, vibration test etc. were made to verify thesimulation model, and to study the influencing factors for further objective. On the base ofthe simulation model, the environmental parameters、system parameters and controllingparameters were analyzed to understand the influences on energy consumption. Aiming atthe characteristics of energy-sensitivity of solar car, the influences of every parameter onvibration were emphasized, and the optimization of vibration system was raised too.A scheme of vibration energy harvesting was brought out on the basis of simulationresults. To recollect the vibration energy, a multi-mode vibration collector which containslinear motor and piezoelectric materials was developed, and the energy recovery circuit wasoptimized to improve efficiency. In the same way the new theories and methods of nextgeneration can be provided through optimizing those factors.
