Copper resource has been a global shortage of resources for a long time, with thegrowth of economy, the amount of its reverses has gradually reduced, and its price has alsogradually increased.Air conditioners and refrigerators use75percent of copper resourceconsumption, so how to realize“aluminum replace copper” has been a great concern ofissue for air conditioners and refrigeratorsmanufacturers. This paper developed anewintegral aluminum heat exchanger, through numerical simulation and experimentalstudy of the test, analyses the heat performance and the feasibility of applying in airconditionercomprehensively.Analysisheat transfer enhancement reasons of integral aluminum heat exchanger; usethree-dimensionalscanning electron microscope to deserve the irregularmorphology ofraised structure in the fin surface of integral aluminum heat exchangerheat exchanger,propose and establishthe fin geometry in the rough side surface. Establishsolid coupled heattransfer model of the integral aluminum heat exchanger, through numerical simulation byFluent software, analyzing the influence in heat transfer performance of different sizeparameters of the fin of the integral aluminum heat exchanger aluminum tube. Throughwind tunnel experiment, compare the heat transfer performance of integral aluminum heatexchanger aluminumheat exchanger and brass broken wings fin heat exchanger, thecomparison result shows that air-side pressure Δp drops about average of31.90percent ofthe integral aluminum heat exchanger heat exchanger, the heat transfer coefficient increasesabout average of23.09percent instead. Establishtest correlation and heat transfer modelaccording to the test results.Establish the evaporator and condenser heat transfer model of air conditioningrefrigeration system,calculatetheoretical cycle of refrigeration system which the integralaluminum heat exchanger aluminum heat exchanger is used as evaporator and condenser ofair conditioning. Use the integral aluminum heat exchangerheat exchanger to design LGwindow air conditioner (model LW8012) alternatively, and produce a prototype LGwindow air conditioner, then use enthalpy test bench to text cooling performance of the LGwindow air conditioner original machine and prototype, and then further optimize thestructure of integral aluminum heat exchanger aluminum condenser according to the testresults and re-test, the result showed that the optimized prototype increase5.69%compared with the original mechanism of cold, power consumption increase0.81%,4.79%increaseenergy efficiency. These results indicate that integral aluminum heat exchanger aluminumheat exchanger can realize “aluminum replace copper”, can improve heattransferperformance; when applied in air conditioner, it can also improve therefrigerationperformance and reduceproduction costs.
