With the expansion of heavy construction industry in recent years, thetendency of the crawler crane gradually toward the development of largetonnage, thus the requirement of reliability and security has becomeincreasingly high. The importance of fault diagnosis and its correspondingfault management services continue to rise. However, there are fewsystem-level fault analysis method for the large tonnage crawler cranes;while the effective information management approaches are alsoinsufficient.For the problems above, we take the SCC36000A crawler crane forresearch object and conduct researches include:1)Composition and principle of the hydraulic system are introduced.Then the fault tree is built for walking hydraulic system. Then qualitativeanalysis and quantitative analysis will be performed. Based on the limit ofthe traditional fault tree analysis on the uncertainty systems, bayesiannetwork is introduced in to improve the fault tree analysis, which couldrealize the inference based on probability.2)Then we sort the common fault phenomena and formulate auniform naming convention. A fault information management system isdeveloped to provide fault entry, query and analysis function. This systemalso provides an effective communication and sharing platform of fault information among different departments in the enterprise.3)The web service based fault diagnosis system architecture isdetailed and used to improve the existing remote fault diagnosis system.The system adopts WCF to transmit fault data. We design a uniform faultdatabase which could integrate the distributed fault data.These analysis methods and systems have been applied in largetonnage crawler crane and effectively solve the existing problems.
