The Traffic Security State Real-time Automatic Detection

With the continuous progress and development, traffic creates wealth meanwhileit hurts people in some degree. The so frequently traffic accidents not also endangerlife, make great loss of country and people’s properties, but also destroy the power oftransportation. Loosening and avoiding the traffic accidents becomes an urgentmission to better the traffic safety.This paper auto-observing the traffic security state, in detail it discriminatesgrades of road and traffic security state with parameter of one part of road section. Inthis paper, traffic security state composes of three grades: security, insecurity anddanger. If drivers and administrators know the security state of one part of roadsection and take different measures for the different security states, the trafficincidence rate will decrease greatly.This paper discusses the four main elements which inflect traffic security state:traffic state, weather, visibility and over-speed. It shows different factors’ influenceand harmfulness on traffic security.The classification and measure of this four element like put different parametersinto four different classifiers. Traffic state (traffic congestion) contains unimpededtraffic, crowding traffic and congesting traffic. The classification of traffic state is onthe base of parameters from video: vehicle speed, occupancy and the grade of trafficstate which up to sugeno fuzzy deduction. First of all, the weather, Because ofregional differentiation, this paper analyzes the state of rainy in weather. Using thestatus assessment of rainfall from auto rain-gauge station and setting different gradesfor the different rainfall. Secondly, it takes advantage of image brightness’ standardbias then classifies the visibilities. Thirdly, on the base of stopping sight distance withAASHTO model, it creates safe speed on the comparative test. With the experimentsand simulating system, it verifies the possibility of every classifiers and thenimproving.The classification of traffic security state combines four elements’(fourclassifiers) result analysis. It adopts addition rule and integrates for differentclassifiers. At last, it verifies the possibility of this measure.
