| Energy is the original force to promote society development and enhancinghuman expanding ability while energy conservation and environment protectionare the main theme of contemporary world. Under this circumstance, manydeveloped countries improved their legal framework to put forward energypolicy, and took energy efficiency as basic tool of energy policy. Meanwhile,high energy consumption and low energy efficiency make energy situation inChina more severe. Increasingly significant energy and environmental issues hasbecoming the two main problems limiting sustainable development of Chinas’economy. Energy conservation and environmental protection has become majormeasures to assure economy sustainable development.In this paper, solar energy assisted ground source heat pump coupling withice thermal storage system was studied detailed with heating, air conditioningand domestic hot water supply program of a planning area in Beijing forexample. The detailed design of the complex system was demonstrated in thispaper. Also, system energy efficiency and economic performance of the systemwas analyzed to provide references for the similar engineering practice. Thiswork includes the four main parts as follows.Firstly, the basic information of the researched project was introduced andthe local climatic and geological conditions were analyzed. The heating load,cooling load, the domestic hot water load were analyzed and calculated whichwas the basis of the following study.Secondly, according to the actual local conditions, a complex systemconsisted of ground source heat pump, solar energy application and ice thermalenergy storage technology was designed. The design principle of the complexsystem was described. Hot water system processes, heating processes and airconditioning processes of the system were analyzed. The major equipment wascalculated and chosen.Afterwards, the energy efficient of the complex system was studied. Hourlyenergy consumption and annual energy consumption of the system were studiedand compared with the traditional systems. The results showed that compared with electricity heating water system and district heating, total annual energyconsumption of the solar energy assisted system had reduced.Finally, the economics performance of the complex system was analyzed bycalculating the system’s initial investment, payback period and economicindicators. The initial investment and payback period of the system wereanalyzed respectively. Also, the equipment investment economic indicators andcooling operation economic indicators were calculated. |
