| With the increasing urbanization in China, Urban environment is facing greaterchallenges. As a result, the demand for the development of underground space is alsoincreasing. Metro Lines, as an efficient means of transport, are built in many cities.Shield Tunnel Construction inevitably approaching affect on soil and buildings nearby.The research on the influence of Shield Tunnel Construction on ajecent soil andbuilding become important.In recent years, there are basically three methods on the research of ShieldConstruction, which are Theoretical analysis, numerical analysis, and analysis of fieldmeasurement. With the development and popularization of computer technology,numerical analysis method have been widely used in the tunnel and undergroundengineering research to analyze and predict the influence of tunneling on surroundingsoil and buildings.Tianjin Metro Line projects are simulated by means of finite element method inthis paper. Pressures and frictional forces between shield driven machine and thesurrounding soil are considered during process of shield driven. Result of the finiteelement method fairly conformed with the major results of site measurement acquiredin Tianjin Metro Line No.2project, which show that the simulation method is reliable.Research on the effects of shield driven on soil and single pile foundation nearbyare carried out with this method. Results show that friction force between shield andsoil is one of the key factors of the ground deformations, especially the ground uplift.Ground uplift and soil horizontal deformation increases with the raise of frictionbetween shield and soil. Moreover, the increasing of friction causes larger settlementon pile top and horizontal deformation on the piles. |
