Reactive Powder Concrete is a new cement-based materials with high strength、high toughness and high durability. Researchers at home and abroad have done a lotof studies for its application in the field of civil engineering since1990s, and most ofthem are concentrated on the static performance. However, some common areas ofcivil engineering, such as crane beams、 offshore platforms、 highway bridges andrailway bridges, etc, are inevitably faced with the effects of fatigue loads. Thefatigue loads can cause the performance degradation of structural materialsconstantly. Finally, brittle failure occurs in the case of the lower static strength.Therefore, in order to promote the application of the RPC material, it is veryimportant to understand the fatigue properties of reinforced RPC structure. In thispaper, through the experimental research of reinforced RPC beams under staticloading and fatigue loading to study the performance degradation process. Thecontents of the paper can be listed as follows:1. Describe the background of this topic and summarize the research progressand the basic conclusions at home and abroad. Based on the existing problems, theobjective of this paper is put forward.2. Through the experiments of RPC and reinforced bar, static and fatigue test ofreinforced RPC beams, the failure process of the test specimen under static loadingand the effects of loading times on crack、deformation、compression zone RPC strainand reinforcement strain have been observed.3. Based on the existing fatigue research data of reinforced bar, exploring themechanism of reinforced bar under fatigue load. Fatigue constitutive relations areestablished.4. Combined with concrete fatigue researches and the RPC fatigue tests data inthis paper, which proved that the residual strain model and fatigue residualdeformation modulus degradation model can be applied to the RPC, as well as fittingthe relevant test parameters. The RPC fatigue constitutive relations are established.5. According to the test results of the reinforced RPC beams, presenting theassumption of nonlinear analysis of reinforced RPC beams. On the base of this, thesimplified method of reinforced RPC beams is deduced. The data is performed by thesimplified method accord with the theory data. The results indicate that the data performed by the simplified method is accord with the theoretical data.
