Super yacht refers to the yacht which length is equal or greater than24meters,itas a special ship which integrated with business, leisure and entertainment, its specialfunction determines its characteristics of structure,outfitting, painting, shape andmarketing is different from general ship. Super yacht at present according to thebuilding materials mainly divided into FRP super yacht, aluminum super yacht andsteel-aluminum structure super yacht three types, each type has its own advantages.Steel-aluminum structure super yacht have great advantages in economy, the luxury,technology and durability, domestic usually built it using the conventionalsystem-oriented construction method,this building method separate super yachtbuilding process into hull construction,outfitting and painting three job types,firstbuild super yacht’s hull,after the completion of hull erection,then begin to dooutfitting and painting.Zone construction method as a advanced modern shipbuilding mode,its mainfeature is integration of hull construction,outfitting and painting,this building methodhas been adopted by most of the shipbuilding enterprises in our country. The mainthought of zone construction method is intermediate product oriented,divided theshipbuilding task into hull construction,outfitting and painting,the principle ofbuilding task is hull fendao construction,zone outfitting and zone outfitting, all kindsof intermediate products classified by zone/type/stage and then fendao product it,thenoptimize the job sorting. Zone construction method achieved the design, production,management integration and hull construction,outfitting,painting integration. Byapplying the zone construction method, not only can reduce the construction cost,shorten construction cycle, improve production efficiency, also can improveproduction management and the quality of products. Currently, zone constructionmethod is generally more common use in the construction of large transport ship,usezone construction method building super yacht has not been reported by media. Zoneconstruction method as a kind of advanced shipbuilding mode, why is not widelyused in steel-aluminum structure super yacht’s building, This shipbuilding mode is whether suitable for the construction of steel-aluminum structures super yachts ornot,which method can be used in evaluate the adaptability of this mode buildsteel-aluminum structure super yacht are need urgent research. In this paper, a49.5mlong super yacht which building by Nanhua shipyard has been selected as theresearch sample.Through research and analysis,the comprehensive evaluation systemof super yacht building mode’s adaptability has been established,and attempt to useFuzzy comprehensive evaluation theory to make a quantitative analysis on theconstruction of steel-aluminum structure super yacht,in order to provide a reference tothe manufacturer of super yacht when they selecting building mode. The maincontents of this paper as follows:First of all,I analyzed the product characteristics ofsuper yacht;Secondly,choose a super yacht which built by Nanhua shipyard assample,compared the advantages and disadvantages of system-oriented constructionmethod and zone construction method form aspects of product characteristics andconstruction constraints,then concluded a method that is more suitable for superyacht’s construction;Finally,by surveyed and investigated in Nanhua shipyard,Iestablished adaptability evaluation index system of super yacht’s buildingmethod,then made a comprehensive evaluation of two different super yachtconstruction modes by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, by comparingthe evaluation results, selected the best construction methods in two constructionmethods,and the best construction method corroborated the more suitableconstruction method in front which got by comparing the advantages anddisadvantages.The content of adaptability research on building steel-aluminum structure superyacht by zone construction method in this paper is only for a representative superyacht build by Nanhua shipyard,we can draw a conclusion from current researchresult is that system-oriented construction method is more suitable for super yacht’sbuilding than zone construction method,whether using system-oriented constructionmethod is better than zone construction method in super yacht of all scales and alltypes need further validation and more practice.
