Pneumatic technology has lots of advantages, for example, more efficienct, lesscost and pollution, easily maintain. So it has been widely spread in industrialproduction, it is one of the most effective methord in the production process ofautomation. Under the continuous technology development, The higher requirementsof the characteristics of pneumatic system are needed at low speed, computersimulation is widely used at the field of military, industry and education, introducingthe technology to the design and research of pneumatic system, which is meaningfulto improve the performance of pneumatic system at low-speed, and which is alsoreally valuable to expand the applicaton of pneumatic system.By applying gas state equation, thermodynamic equation,tribology theory andthe theory of theoretical mechanics, the mathematical model of pneumatic cylinder isestablished. The model includes gas mass flow equation, gas temperature pressureequation, cylinder motion equation and the model of high-speed on-off valve.Allthose equations provide the basis for establishing pneumatic parts and system.Based on the mathematic models, taking cylinder of SMC CEP1and on-offvalve of SMC VQ100as physical models, establish component simulation models inAMESim, and build verification model to test component models. Basing on theadvantages of building model simply and conveniently in AMESim and handlingdate ability of Simulink, establish the co-simulation model in AMESim and Simulink.During the co-simulation, the S-function is the medium. The co-simulation modelprovides the basis for the research of pneumatic cylinder at low-speed.Pneumatic system co-simulation model based on the control of high-speed on-off valve, to study the performance of pneumatic system at low speed movement, be quantitative to the change of air pressure, load and cylinder diameter, then researchthe influence to cylinder speed when the low speed movement jitter, and reveals theinfluence law. At the same time, study on the influence because of Spring weak, thehigh-speed on-off valve feedback load source fluctuation and the cylinder leakagewhen the cylinder jitter at low speed. The research results to the optimization designand the improvement of which VQ100series high-speed on-off valve controls CEP1series pneumatic cylinder system has an important theoretical significance.
