The main purpose of Longwanggou reservoir project is to solve the difficult problem ofagricultural water to local villagers, the region’s poverty is of great significance and is anirrigation-based agriculture, aquaculture, both to improve the ecological environment of theriver and a series of comprehensive effectiveness of water conservancy projects. In this paper,according to the actual situation of Longwanggou reservoir projects currently underconstruction in Qinghai Ledu area, to practical engineering cases as paper source, based onthe natural geography of the basin, hydro-climatic characteristics, engineering geology andhydrogeology of the analysis, according to the project goals and tasks, were analyzed forwater supply and demand; calculated by adjusting the reservoir characteristics and featuresof flood water level in the reservoir storage capacity calculations obtained; complete huboverall layout of the dam type scheme than the election to determine the choice of gravityprogram; of a cross-sectional design of gravity, and gravity is calculated by the finiteelement stress analysis program distribution and stability analysis; Finally, the non-overflowsection optimized design study to build the dam smallest cross-sectional area as the objectivefunction optimization model, using ANSYS software design flood level and checking floodsection two conditions were optimized to achieve the parameters modeling, applied load andsolving processes, procedures and controls automate the optimization process, and givesresults after optimization, and analysis of the main indicators of optimal control scheme.Using ANSYS software to optimize the design of the dam has important practicalsignificance for improving the level of gravity design, give full play to the role of dammaterial and reduce project cost.
