| Biomass is the renewable energy that can be cleaned and stored, it is worth givingthe attention from government and technology. Co-firing of biomass and coal is one ofthe effective method of biomass economy. Study the combustion characteristics of co-firing and biomass, will provides basis and guidance for combustion engineering andcombustion equipment, towards large coal-fired power plant mixed combustion ofbiomass.Firstly, we studied the combustion characteristics of3different biomass fuelparticles(sawdust, straw, rice husk) and Leiyang anthracite separately burning or mixburning via STA449C thermogravimetric analyzer, discussed the effects of biomassspecies, particle size and mixing ratio parameters on the combustion characteristics of thesamples. The results show that, the lost mass after fire of biomass was divided into twostages: The first stage (250~350℃) is the volatile release combustion stage, the lossrange in this period is big, the reaction temperature range is relatively narrow,it is themain stage of biomass combustion. The second stage(350℃upper), is the fixing carboncombustion stage,the weight loss is not so big,and with a wide reaction temperaturerange. The data is obviously smaller than the first stage, But due to the low volatileanthracite, volatile release stage is not obvious.When the anthracite mixed with biomass,combustion characteristic curves have shifted to low temperature, with the increase ofbiomass, ignition temperature, volatile and coke all with lower maximum burning ratetemperature and burnout temperature.Then,the thermogravimetric experimental data on the dynamics calculation viaCoats-Redfern,to calculate the kinetic parameter of3substances and anthracite burnmixed or separately, calculated and analyzed by combustion characteristic indexes. Forthe three kinds of biomass and coal combustion of anthracite alone, the activation energyis much larger than the three kinds of biomass. The activation energy get down when thebiomass increased, so that the combustion rate of coal with biomass and biomass mixingratio increases. The calculation of activation energy and combustion characteristicindexes show that biomass added in burning anthracite is helpful for improving the coalignition performance,anthracite blending part biomass contributes to improve the coalignition performance, have a catalytic effect on coal combustion. |
