The Preliminary Researhc Of The Urban Comprehensive Commercial Street Soundscape

Urban comprehensive business street is the essence of city and also is the most dynamic public space. Since China’s reform and opening up, with the development of economy, many places have increasingly set off the boom of constructing and modifying business streets. But because our country lacks the experience of developing comprehensive business street, we don’t have the foresight about its developmental strategy. With the further development of economy, people’s life quality is constantly improving, and they feel more and more dissatisfied with shopping environment in the city malls. Being losing more and more vitality, some old business streets are slowly disappearing in the long river of history. Taking this for a starting point, this article will introduce the concept of acoustic soundscape into the reform for the acoustic environment of urban comprehensive business streets, hoping to wake up the vitality of these business streets, also to provide some experience of building and rebuilding urban comprehensive business street.Taking the interview model as its theoretical basis, mentioned by Professor Kang Jian in "Exploratory research on the acoustic soundscape of underground commercial street", this article makes a exploratory study for acoustic soundscape reconstruction of urban comprehensive business street by the way of streets investigation. It regards auditory elements as its breakthrough point, and adopts the concept of acoustic soundscape to grasp and forther understand the soundscape of urban comprehensive commercialstreet. On the analysis of the related research on the acoustic environment at home and abroad, this paper is trying to introduce the concept to the research of urban comprehensive commercial street soundscape scene. At the beginning of this paper is defined the concept of sound scene and expounds the acoustic soundscape elements and the relationship between them. Then, on the basis of the survey of the many times reconnaissance and visitation of Taiyuan LiuHang comprehensive commercial street, finds out the features of LiuHang landscape, and carry on the accurate measurement of the noise of LiuHang by using the noise analyzer, and then, according to the result of determination will give an objective evaluation on the current situation of sound scene in LiuHang business street, from which found LiuHang comprehensive business street is highly polluted by noise. Then by using the likert scale method has carried on a subjective evaluation to LiuHang sound scene. According to the degree of affection and coordination of sound scend, and the evaluation of acoustic comfort, select out ten sound scene which are people like and don’t like, from which proved sound scene is an integral component of the overall soundscape elements.The work in the first four chapters of the paper mainly to evaluate the sound environment of LiuHang business street and food market,and also provide the theoretical basis for the next soundscape design. In the Fifth chapter elaborates the psychological basis of the soundscape design, soundscape design method of steps and the positioning of sound environment of LiuHang comprehensive business street. Finally, combining the need for positioning and the soundscape problems of LiuHang comprehensive business street, proposes corresponding improvement suggestions to the LiuHang comprehensive commercial street.In this paper, based on the research of the soundscape in LiuHang comprehensive business street, the author hopes to bring richer design elements and the new starting point for the improvement of the overall environment in urban comprehensive business streets, and to make it more and more comfortable.
