| Since the nineteen nineties, our country’s urban modernization and internationalization is speeding up gradually, and have started the planning and construction of urban CBD. But the urban development also damages the environment, increases environmental pollution. CBD Park green space is the "oasis" in the downtown. Plants landscape is the major factor to realize ecological and social benefits as well as landscape benefits. And people are more and more concerned about it.With the increasing of the exchange of Sino-western culture. CBD Park green space in china’s modern city is developing rapidly. Plants landscape design has new changes also. There are increased new varieties of plants. Especially, the large numbers of application of ground cover, brought plants landscape to new atmosphere. Configurations of plants grouping become colorful-more seasons, more colors, and more textures. The study of plants landscape design also diversifies plants arranging methods. But there are still many shortages. Such as:1.the diversity of plants species lack of varieties, not too much applications of new varieties.2. Attention to partial but neglect the whole, or no connection with hardscape.3. Plants landscape has no obvious features and lack of personality.4. Inadequate grasp the growth habit of the plants.5. No obvious seasonal characters of the plants, the use of the color are not flexible enough.6. Not enough attention to plants creating space.Firstly, this thesis has sorted out the relative theories about plants landscape planning and design of Modern Urban Park green space. Then have studied the plants landscape of CBD Park green space, collected classic cases of overseas urban CBD Park and plants landscape planning and design of built-up domestic urban CBD park green space. After analysis and summarization, we come out the plants landscape planning and design principles and methods which are suitable to our country’s CBD park green space. At the end, through the study of real case Plants Landscape Planning of Hangzhou Xiasha Jinsha Lake, to verify the feasibility and practicability of the design principles and methods.
