Driven by electric power market reform, along with people’s environmentalprotection consciousness gradually strengthened, acquiring methods of improving thepower plant boiler combustion efficiency and reducing pollutant emission allows of nodelay.In this paper power plant boiler furnace parameter filed mainly temperature filed isstudied. At first, the importance of furnace parameters is analyzed. ZoloBOSS lasermeasurement system is compared with other measurements which are advanced and haveapplication range, each characteristic and application environment is analyzed. Theprinciple and real-time measurement result of ZoloBOSS laser measurement system aremainly introduced in this paper, and combustion adjustment experiments are conductedbased on parameters which are got through ZoloBOSS laser measurement system. Thatcan direct the boiler combustion process. Because when fuel characteristics and airdistribution parameters of the boiler deviate from design data, the safety and economy ofthe units can be influenced. The application of ZoloBOSS laser measurement systemmakes the measurement problems of thermal power unit important parameter be solved.On the purpose of reducing thermal power unit nitrogen oxide emission, we carry onthe research which focuses on mechanism and control of nitrogen oxide emission on tworespects which are nitrogen oxide generation pathways and reducing nitrogen oxideemission technology. On the other hand, boiler combustion efficiency is also analyzed inthis paper and the factors which have influence on it are also studied. Power plant boilernitrogen oxide emission model is established using neural network on the basis ofparameters that affect the boiler nitrogen oxide emission which are gotten throughZoloBOSS laser measurement system and DCS.11sets of data under different conditionsare used to train the net. These data are gotten on the basis of thermal state test which areunder variable operating conditions. And other sets of data are used to verify the accuracyof the model. It can be seen that combustion optimization of thermal power generationunit can achieve a satisfactory control effect within the application of neural network.And the combustion optimization platform is designed on the basic of ZoloBOSS lasermeasurement system to achieve close-loop control. The combustion optimizationtechnology has a profound effect on thermal power generation unit.
